India Starts Tour with a Win in T20

Toss: West Indies have won the toss and choose to bowl.
India Started tour with a wonderful win with West Indies, in the only Twenty20 International in Port of Spain. India started with a dull opening, but the middle order batsman S Badrinath (Man of the Match) played a important role in the India Innings . While Sammy of West Indies took 4 wickets.

Gayle Out of Squad for India Series

After IPL-4 also West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) does not selected Chris Gayle for T20 match and first 2 ODI Match with India. The selectors were not willing to choose Gayle, who slammed the West Indies Board on radio after he was not piked in the squad to take on Pakistan last month. In a statement naming the squad to face India, the WICB explained the omission of Gayle, who was named as Player of the Tournament in IPL.

Although allrounder Kieron Pollard is back for first two ODI, while the fast bowler Kemar Roach has been rested for series.

Indian Premier League - 2011

The 2011 Indian Premier League season was the fourth season of the Indian Premier League. The tournament was held and the opening and closing ceremonies were held in M.A Chidambaram Stadium. The season started from 8 April and end on 28 May 2011. This season two new teams were added there are Pune Warriors India and Kochi Tuskers Kerela. Winner of this IPL 2011 is Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore stood in second position.
